Barber Instructor

Essential Functions:
- Ability to demonstrate all aspects within the barbering field to include shaving, fading, women’s cuts, sanitation, coloring, and facials.
- Provides instruction to barber students through classroom instruction, demonstration and practical exercises.
- Maintains records including testing, attendance, and general record keeping.
- Assesses educational needs of students, develops lessons plans to address those needs to include individualized assignments and training.
- Prepares course materials in line with the MiLady Barbering Curriculum.
- Administers, scores, and interprets examinations and proficiency indicators.
- Counsels students concerning their performance, behavior and personal problems.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite.
- Use equipment and facilities responsibly and courteously.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

- Licensed Barber Instructor
- 3 years of Barber experience
- 2 professional references
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of Barber experience
Work Schedule:
- 4-hour shifts
- 8-hour shifts
- 10-hour shifts
