Essential Functions:

• Ability to demonstrate all aspects within the barbering field to include shaving, fading, women's cuts, sanitation, coloring, and facials
• Provides instruction to barber students through classroom instruction, demonstration and practical exercises
• Maintains records including testing, attendance, and general record keeping
• Assesses educational needs of students, develops lessons plans to address those needs to include individualized assignments and training
• Prepares course materials in line with the MiLady Barbering Curriculum
• Administers, scores, and interprets examinations and proficiency indicators
• Counsels students concerning their performance, behavior and personal problems
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite
• Use equipment and facilities responsibly and courteously
• Performs other duties as assigned
