Barber Instructor

Barber Instructor Requirements
Essential Functions:
- Ability to demonstrate all aspects within the barbering field to include shaving, fading, women's cuts, sanitation, coloring, and facials
- Provides instruction to barber students through classroom instruction, demonstration and practical exercises
- Maintains records including testing, attendance, and general record keeping
- Assesses educational needs of students, develops lessons plans to address those needs to include individualized assignments and training
- Prepares course materials in line with the MiLady Barbering Curriculum
- Administers, scores, and interprets examinations and proficiency indicators
- Counsels students concerning their performance, behavior and personal problems
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite
- Use equipment and facilities responsibly and courteously
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Good attitude
- Flexibility
- Ability to adapt
- Licensed Barber Instructor
- 3 years of Barber experience
- 2 professional references
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of Barber experience
Work Schedule:
- 4-hour shifts
- 8-hour shifts
- 10-hour shifts
Pay Range:
Compensation is negotiable depending on experience.
